My Future Job

 Hello, today I am going to tell you about my future job. Actually, I would like to have two jobs. The first one, I would like to have an outdoor bakery in a quiet village surrounded by nature, I would like to create that bakery in Turkey.


 

In my second job, when I graduate I would like to work in some health center, so, I want to have a very nice office, with warm colors. would like to have those two jobs, because they are very different.

 


I would like to do my graduate degree in clinical psychology at the University of Istanbul in Turkey, because I love that country and I want to live there for a long time. However, I would like to travel the world and work abroad, the more countries the better, because I feel that this will allow me to get to know different cultures, languages and people. Besides, I will be able to have a lot of experience socially, emotionally and at work.

 

Regarding the salary, I would like to earn enough to be able to cover my needs and tastes. I think that life is very short and that what is really important is to do what you want and enjoy every moment.

I think that one of the mental problems that the confinement during the pandemic has generated in me are depressive episodes, sometimes I feel sad because I think that it is the best stage of our life and we are not taking full advantage of it. However, in order not to be sad or anxious, I cook, exercise, study, watch series and work some days of the week in a minimarket.  I think that the pandemic has affected not only on a health level, but also on an economic and social level. The pandemic has affected many families who need to go to work, also children or elderly people who need to go out and relax for a while, and it has also affected us students, because it is a big challenge to watch classes online. So, the pandemic has meant for many of us an exhausting and sad situation. When the pandemic is over, I would like to travel to Venezuela to reconnect with my family and friends, also to go to the beach, but most of all to enjoy the wonders that life has to offer.

Post Graduate Studies

Psychology is a very interesting, beautiful and diverse career in all its aspects, for this reason there are variety of postgraduate courses to choose, such as Forensic Psychology, Social Psychology and Neuropsychology. When I finish my degree, I would like to do a master’s degree in health and Clinical Psychology, because it is an area that strikes me by its focus on the investigation and treatment of all the factors that can generate discomfort in the mental health of individuals. When I finish my degree I would like to travel around the world and know different cultures and countries. Therefore, I would prefer to do my master’s degree abroad, in Europe, the United States or Australia part time, so that I can work and study at the same time. However, there is still a long way to go, but the important thing is to work hard to achieve our dreams.

Hi my name is Angela Rodríguez but my friends aslo call me Ange or Yela. I am 19 years old. I was born on June 5 of 2001 in Mérida, Venezuela. I have two sisters and a brother, my mother's name was Indira and my father's name is Jose. I arrived in Chile a year and a half ago now I live with my sisters in Quinta Normal in the metropolitan region. I study Psychology at the University of Chile.
