CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello friends, today I am going to talk a little bit about how my career works and what changes I would like to see in the future. First, it is important to say that I have not seen face-to-face classes due to the pandemic, which means I only know the university online. However, I think some changes could be made for everyone's wellbeing. 

 

As for the subjects, I like all the subjects taught, I think they are well organized with these. But I would like the CFG to be better organized, as it is very difficult to find a place and that hurts us students. 

 

Another important issue is the study load, it would be good if we could continue with weeks off, since many of us work and study, so these weeks would help us to perform much better. As for the facilities and infrastructure of the university, I can't say much because I don't know them.

 

As for the methodologies of the subjects, I would like them to be different and fun for the next courses, to encourage us to study. Also, I would like to see an improvement in connectivity and technology, and to offer help to people who do not have computers or internet, because thanks to the context of the pandemic it became evident that it is essential to have both tools to study.

    hello, I also think that the cfg access system should be improved.

    Hi Angela, you are right, the CFGs are quite poorly organized, since by mesh we should take them in the second semester, however, it is very difficult to stay the first time you apply.

I think that one of the mental problems that the confinement during the pandemic has generated in me are depressive episodes, sometimes I feel sad because I think that it is the best stage of our life and we are not taking full advantage of it. However, in order not to be sad or anxious, I cook, exercise, study, watch series and work some days of the week in a minimarket.  I think that the pandemic has affected not only on a health level, but also on an economic and social level. The pandemic has affected many families who need to go to work, also children or elderly people who need to go out and relax for a while, and it has also affected us students, because it is a big challenge to watch classes online. So, the pandemic has meant for many of us an exhausting and sad situation. When the pandemic is over, I would like to travel to Venezuela to reconnect with my family and friends, also to go to the beach, but most of all to enjoy the wonders that life has to offer.

Psychology is a very interesting, beautiful and diverse career in all its aspects, for this reason there are variety of postgraduate courses to choose, such as Forensic Psychology, Social Psychology and Neuropsychology. When I finish my degree, I would like to do a master’s degree in health and Clinical Psychology, because it is an area that strikes me by its focus on the investigation and treatment of all the factors that can generate discomfort in the mental health of individuals. When I finish my degree I would like to travel around the world and know different cultures and countries. Therefore, I would prefer to do my master’s degree abroad, in Europe, the United States or Australia part time, so that I can work and study at the same time. However, there is still a long way to go, but the important thing is to work hard to achieve our dreams.

Hi my name is Angela Rodríguez but my friends aslo call me Ange or Yela. I am 19 years old. I was born on June 5 of 2001 in Mérida, Venezuela.
